Holy I-Can't-Believe-You-Ruined-Batman, Batman!

Anne Hathaway visited the Late Show last night to talk The Dark Knight Rises and the results were disastrous!!

Anne was as perfect mannered pretty kitty, as usual. Dave Letterman, however, was not in his finest form.

Dave, who already screened TDKR, gave away THE ENDING!!

Without invitation, provocation, or hesitation, he just blurted out… no, don't worry, we would never tell!!

Maybe Dave was joking about the reveal, maybe he wasn't — but it obviously made Anne uncomfortable. She distanced herself from him, repeatedly saying she had no part in this.

We truly hope he didn't ruin one of the most anticipated movies of the decade for all of his loyal fans!

On a lighter and less spoil-y note, Anne told the TV host to "Kiki with a monkey."

Dave didn't get it, so she explained further:

"A Kiki is a party for calming all your nerves, and it's a new Scissor Sisters song I'm obsessed with."

Ha! The Kiki reference almost makes us feel better. Almost.

R U pissed off at Dave's disregard or does he get an "approaching senility" pass?

Letterman is kind of a fuckface. If you watch after he blurts it out she looks mortified and apologizes to Chris Nolan. This is obviously not a joke. I loathe the fact that he justified spoiling the ending because it wont hurt ticket sales.

Don't watch Letterman (past my bedtime) and have no plans to see the new Batman movie (have seen a couple and that is enough, thank you) but this is not good news for the fans who want to see the new movie.

Obviously not a joke, based on the look on Anne Hathaway's face and how they tried to play it off. He's such a mean asshole, too. I've gotten tired of his creepy fawning over 20 year old starlets also. Like, he drools whenever Blake Lively is on his show. It's even more gross when I remember that he took his mistress with his wife and infant son on vacation.

The whole show is pre recorded. They shoot it in the morning and then air it at night so if it was actually a spoiler you'd think that they would have edited it out.

Dave was obviously joking and didnt know, the movie wasnt even out yet it was anns reaction that made it official when she confirmed. how would dave know?

its easy to freak out and bitch when you think dave was doing this to fuck with nolan fans who have become as bad as biodrones (google it) but its blatantly obvious he was joking and didnt know that was the real ending
