Will Smith Wants To Direct Bible Pic About Cain & Abel!

Go Big Willy!

The rapper-turened-sitcom-star-turned-A-list-actor wants to switch careers again!

Will Smith has expressed interest in directing a Biblical epic about battling brothers Cain and Abel.

It won't be Smith's next film. Howeves, our source has confirmed that project — currently titled The Redemption Of Cain — is "being developed as directing vehicle for Smith, who’ll likely star in the film as well."

Guess going Old Testament is a new Hollywood trend!

Darren Aronofsky is currently working a movie about Noah, and Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott are working on bringing Moses back to the big screen.

Can Will compete with that experienced competition?

We'd like to see him give it a shot! He seems to be good great at just about everything!

Casting suggestion: Ben Foster as Cain, and Emille Hirsch as Abel.

So isn't basically going to be another East of Eden ?

I'm not diggin' the concept of a Scientologist directing a bibical movie. That doesn't fly right.

    Your source ?
    Perez, you have NO sources.
    You just copy and paste.

The project has nothing to do w/ Abel except for him being killed by Cain. The story focuses primarily on what happens w/ Cain after the murder of Able and the subsequent curse God placed on him. Oh and Will isn't a scientoligist.

Shouldn't he direct a film about scientology instead? Starring Tom Cruise using his telepathic powers or something? Lol
