In a world where gay is the accepted norm and being straight is seen as a heinous crime against God, can love of the 'wrong' kind prevail amongst overt hatred and disgust?
Love and fear are just two of the many issues addressed in Kim Rocco Shields' newest film Love Is All You Need?, starring Kellan Lutz and Camilla Belle as secret heterosexual lovers in a society which demonizes straight romantic relationships.
Camilla plays Jude Klein, the star quarterback of the Sparta University football team who meets sports journalist Ryan Morris (Lutz) at a frat party. The two are instantly drawn to each other and embark on a hidden affair in this role-reversal feature.
The flick is actually based on a critically acclaimed short directed by Shields, which focuses on a young girl in this same world who falls in love with a boy in her class, resulting in relentless bullying. This poor girl ultimately meets a tragic end.
Ooo we are SO excited to view this science fiction-esque drama! Not only is the premiss SUPER intriguing, the film's main themes of love and acceptance are so current and SO important.
Sometimes, to REALLY understand a different point of view, you've got to turn the world you know completely upside down.
In this case, literally!
To lighten the mood, why don't you take a swim with a wet Kellan in some STEAMY shirtless pics (below)!
