Umm yea, there was new footage, right at the very end when Damon says "and now the world has one more quarterback" and when Damon tells Stefan about the talk the he and Elena had before…It's all at the very end, its short, but its there…

he never said there was new footage..just said a new first look at season 4…which is exactly what it was. using footage from the past three seasons to build up to the next. chill people

OMG october 11 is soooooo far! Season 3 finale was the biggest cliff-hanger possible!!!!!!!! Not to mention her chosing stefan only to find out she met damon before him! OMG how exciting!!!!!!!
