Hunger Games: Catching Fire Casting!

This is Nuts!

No, really. This is a story about Nuts. KEEP UP!

Lionsgate has just cast Amanda Plummer as District 3 champ, Wiress aka "Nuts" in the Hunger Games sequel!!

You may recognize Plummer from Pulp Fiction, but she is better known as a stage actress. Her theatre experience should serve her well, considering Nuts communicates mainly through pantomime. We approve!

The studio still hasn't announced their choice for Nuts companion, Beetee, who will play an equally (if not more important) role in Catching Fire than she will. HOWEVES, our little mockingjays tell us Monk star Tony Shalhoub is up for the part.

Another Catching Fire role THISCLOSE to being officially cast is Finnick Odair's District 4 pal, Mags. Rumor has it Oscar winner Melissa Leo is up for the part — but if you ask us she is like, 25 years too young!

So far they've cast officially cast Nuts, Plutarch Heavensbee, Johanna Mason and last, but certainly not least, Finnick Odair!!

Mags is supposed to be old… like really old. WTF? I like Tony but I honestly didn't see him as Beetee, but I think if he is casts he'll do good.
