Madonna Will Suffer The Same Fate As Bruce Springsteen And Paul McCartney If She Goes Over Curfew During London MDNA Show!

Hey! If they were willing to do that to Bruce Springsteen AND Paul McCartney, we can't say we're too surprised!

In light of the pair being shut down for playing past curfew during their surprise duet at Hyde Park's Hard Rock Calling concert Saturday night, Madonna has also now been informed by Live Nation that she, too, will get the same treatment if show attempts to perform past 10:30pm during her MDNA stop in England tomorrow!

According to John Probyn, Live Nation's chief operating officer:

“It won’t happen again. We’ve had lengthy conversations with Madonna’s people. They contacted us. We’ve worked out with them what time she needs to go on stage to finish on time. That’s all in hand. We’d have no choice [but to pull the plug if she goes over]. We are effectively breaking the law if we carry on. There’s not a lot we can do. She will finish on time.”

And according to the Westminster council, who enforces the curfew:

“These time limits are a compromise between the interests of the organisers on one hand and local residents on the other, and are put in place for a reason — to get people out safely and to minimise disruption for residents.”

Well, whether or not these terms seem fair to the rest of us, it is what it is, and we're sure Her Madgesty will put on an INCREDIBLE show within the proper time constraints!

Just don't expect it to be a late night! Ha!

GRAPEVINE, Texas (Reuters) - The Boy Scouts of America on Tuesday said the organization would continue to deny gay people membership, saying that the policy "is in the best interest of Scouting."

People in the area have the right to not be kept awake by loud music. I actually laughed when I saw the story about Springsteen and McCartney; the rules DO apply to them too, and they found out the hard way. All too often we treat celebrities like they're sooooooooo special they don't have to follow the rules the rest of us peons do, and I think it's right that they're brought down to earth.

Both Bruce and Paul are way better musicians than Madonna, even if she is more of an entertainer (not to mention that Paul is actually a Sir, which means that he has more connections in England), so if they had to follow the rules, Madonna also has to.

I think they should shorten the curfew…just that one night for Madonna. If her concert starts at 8pm, I think the curfew should be set at 8:01 pm. You won't be missing anything, just the flash of disgusting old boobs. I think that move would be protecting both the people in the area, and at the concert.

She did this before showed up late, got on stage late, and then people missed the final tube to go home. I find it disgusting that these stars are asking such and extrodinary amount of money for tickets to their concerts, and then proceed to show up and start late. I predict that Madonna will do this again, especially since they told her she couldn't and she is going to be cut off, and her fans will be ripped off. maybe they will see a geriatric boobie before the concert is shut down and that is story you can tell your friends.

She'll probably lip-synch, er, I meant perform over the allotted time just because she's been told she can't, then act all surprised when they shut down her noise machine.

Re: alexia lima – I think you misunderstand it's not a curfew people aren't made to go home off the streets by a certain time, but loud concerts attracting thousands of people can't run late for consideration of others in the area. That is just in that area too, not the whole country. So it's still America thats shit…

BUWHAHAHAHAHAHA they wouldn't dare shut down Madonna's show and they didn't… that's the truth and absolutely not a dare… Madonna is too huge in England. Love Bruce and Paul and they shouldn't have pulled the plug, it's just stupid! rules or not, make one exception for UK's king of pop Paul…
