Jimmy Fallon's coming to primetime!!
That's right! NBC is allowing the prince of Late Night to visit the pre-bedtime hours to give us a little song and dance!
Jimmy has agreed to host a one-hour-special that will feature some of his beeeest musical sketches, which will air NEXT Wednesday.
Here's what NBC says about it:
"The hour will include original performances such as Tebowie and Fallon as Neil Young singing Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The special will also recap some of Fallon's greatest musical collaborations with superstar artists including Justin Timberlake on History of Rap and Carly Rae Jepsen on a one-of-a-kind rendition of Call Me Maybe using only classroom instruments. Other highlights include Scrambled Eggs with Paul McCartney, Whip My Hair with Bruce Springsteen and more, many featuring the musical accompaniment of Late Night house band, The Roots."
EEK! So much excitingness all over our face!
Obvi the network is trying to get Jimmy some attention (and a ratings boost).
Perhaps they're priming him to take over for Mr. Leno when he inevitably
quits again dies at the desk!
