Warner Bros. Releases Statement About Dark Knight Rises Screening Shooting

Absolutely horrible.

We are still trying to process the mass shooting spree that occurred this morning in Aurora, Colorado, at a midnight screening of Dark Knight Rises.

As all of the details unfold, Warner Bros. has released a statement in regards to the tragic shooting.

The studio states:

"Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time."

Recent reports say the gunman killed 12 people and injured 38, when he open fired about 30 minutes into the movie screening.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in this shockingly devastating event.

    So sad.
    I hope they pospone the movie release instead of cashing on the tragedy.
    Red carpets adn parties seem so inapropiate.
