Dark Knight Rises Paris Premiere Cancelled Following Colorado Mass Shooting

Dark Knight Rises Shooting Premiere

We cannot even begin to fathom the shooting that happened in Aurora, Colorado this morning, when a gunman opened fire at an early morning screening of The Dark Knight Rises, killing 12 people and injuring more than 50.

Today, the film opens in theaters and plans for a red carpet premiere in Paris, France tonight have been cancelled, along with press interviews with the cast, following the news of the shooting.

Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Morgan Freeman are at a Paris hotel and were planning on doing media interviews before hearing the news of the absolutely devastating mass killing.

The shooting is the top story in France right now and no plans have been made to reschedule the premiere. Neither Christopher Nolan nor the cast have commented yet.

Our thoughts go out to all involved and the family and friends of the victims who were horribly killed.

    Oh give me a break..LMAO. Fear mongering at its best..they are cancelling their premier in a country with almost no weapons because? How idiotic..ONE FRIGGING GUY did something bad, and you get this type of fear mongering response? Give me a break. He should of shot way more.

If they went forward with the premier & party, it would look like they were ignoring what happened and didn't care; not to mention they would be highly criticized all over for going forward with it because of what happened.

    One thing is for sure. This incident has created enough publicity for this crappy film that the hollywood jews are going to be doing plenty of Klezmer dancing to celebrate all the extra $$$ they are going to reel in from ticket sales to stupid people. So are jews or white males going to be finally racially profiled at movie theaters (and airports) like the rest of us and be subject to experimental radiation poisoning from L-3 airport-scanners-designed-to-radiate-people-that-have-dark-complexion ? I am guessing the answer is no since there hasn't been any action either before or after the oklahoma city bombing and countless other murders and rampages by jewsand white males
