Viacom And DirecTV Are Getting The Band Back Together!

Good news! The blackout is over!!
For ten days, a breakdown in negotiations between Viacom and DirecTV left 20 million subscribers without MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central shows. TEN DAYS!!!
That's like, an episode and a half of Snooki & JWoww!!
Thankfully, the war has ended. There's no reason to watch C-SPAN or PBS anymore! (Unless, you know, you like them in which case, continue to have at it! PBS is our jam sometimes too! Great Performances anyone?)
Unless, you know, you're part of that wacky fringe demographic that gets off on that sort of thing.
Details of the Viacom/DirecTV peace agreement are yet unknown, but both sides assure us they've reached a longterm solution and won't be bothering their subscribers with any more of this brand of nonsense for quite awhile.
As for the other brand of nonsense — including charging insanely high prices and calling you with marketing ploys as soon as you've sat down for dinner — there appears to be no end in sight.

I have direct tv and you once again are full of shit.
Don't get those channels (at least I do not think so) since I downgraded to their cheapest package which is the Family Package. I don't think I even get CNN but guess I can get my news elsewhere.
