It's such a shame Heavy D won't be able to see the outcome of his final role.
His last ever acting gig is set to debut next year, which was a modern take on William Shakespeare's Henry IV play.
He plays Archbishop Scroop in H4, but he almost didn't take the role because of the language involved.
Ultimately, with the help of his fellow cast, he accepted the role. Here's what one of them had to say:
"The language is really the same. We all speak in a particular rhythm. We just hammered it out, worked through it, and the brother turned in a beautiful performance."
We'd expect nothing less.
We're super excited to see how he does!
We're so bummed that a pulmonary embolism took him from the world at such a young age — he was only 44.
RIP Heavy D!
