While Robin Thicke and John Legend's Duets partners were booted off in earlier episodes, Kelly Clarkson stood a chance at being the proudest stage mama for Jason Farol.
But unfortunately for Kelz, Jason came in third place. Instead, the Sugarland queen bred a 1st and 2nd place winner for Season 1.

I loved Duets. You all can suck it. You must not even have watched it so shut up. It was fun and entertaining. Kelly Clarkson was amazing and funny every week. It must have done pretty well since they are talking a second season. Shows what you all know about it. Kelly had amazing performances each week. It was worth watching for Kelly alone, but I truly liked all of the judges and contestants. I enjoyed it and cannot wait for season 2. Hopefully, Kelly will return for another season. She is my favorite!!!
I really enjoyed Duets, I believe it did start a little slow to some, but if you stuck with it each week just got better and better I love Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson and this prove they know their stuff, as does John Legend. I do hope they have a season 2, but I will be disappointed if Jennifer and Kelly aren't on the 2nd Season. Congratulations to Team Jennifer (J Rome & John), also to Team Kelly (Jason) I think even John and Jason may have some in the industry interested in them!
