The Television Critics Association began their Summer 2012 Press Tour this past weekend and ALREADY revealed some new deets for our favorite shows!
Today, Fox held their press conference in Beverly Hills and gave us some more info on the upcoming season four of Glee and X Factor’s season two!
As we already know, Glee will be splitting up its season by having half of it in NYC with Rachel at NYADA and back in Ohio, at McKinley High.
Fox president Kevin Reilly seems pleased with how it’s shaping up, revealing:
“I’ve read first three scripts and I’m very happy with how seamless [the transition] is. There’s going to be thematic linkages between the two [worlds].”
Okay, we guess we can take his word!
Reilly elaborated some more on the casting choices, explaining:
“We have a core [group consisting] of some of the returning characters and some of the new ones that we’ll be servicing every week, and then limited deals with some of the other actors, who will be joining here and there through the season. I think it will make for a fun surprise [when they turn up].”
Sounds good to us! We can’t wait for its premiere in September!
So what about X Factor, also premiering this fall???
“I think [viewers] are going to be surprised just how feisty she [Britney] is. She’s tough. She knows what she’s doing… And I think we’ve got a real spitfire with [fellow judge] Demi [Lovato], who literally Day 1 took on Simon [Cowell].”
We already LOVE fiesty BritBrit and the spats that we’ve been hearing about between Demi and Simon!
X Factor’s bootcamp round has officially begun this week in Miami and we are SUPER excited to see what talent comes out of the show this year!
Sounds like Fox has one AHmazing lineup to look forward to this fall!
