Right Wing Group Calls Miley Cyrus A 'Hollywood-Sponsored Sexpot' After Playboy Tweet

Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute, a conservative group dedicated to blasting the "liberal media", is criticizing Miley Cyrus after she tweeted a picture of herself reading a vintage issue of Playboy (above).

Gainor believes that the 19-year-old pop star is sending a bad message to her younger fans and charged:

"Miley Cyrus continues to be the very opposite of a role model to her young fans. She has gone from playing Hannah Montana to a real life self-confessed 'stoner' whose videos look like she's selling herself, not her music."

OR…she's just acting like a regular 19-year-old!

Regardless of whether or not we agree with her increasingly risqué lifestyle, at least she's not afraid to be herself! Mr. Gainor obviously forgets what it is like to be a teenager, which is a period in life that is not marked by maturity.

Mileybird still has a lot of growing up to do and is going to make mistakes along the way like WE ALL have. Whether or not she regrets them later is entirely up to her.

Still, the conservative commentator says that Hollywood is truly to blame for Miley's "sexpot" behavior and continued:

"Clearly, it is not all Miley's fault. She was raised in Hollywood, where manipulating young actresses is commonplace. Savvy starlets learn at a young age that they are selling sex to our children and the more they do it, the better entertainment media respond. Parents need to understand that the teen girls their children admire will likely turn into Hollywood-sponsored sexpots before they turn 21."

That's right, parents. 21-year-old women are most likely having sex and it's not nature's fault — it's Hollywood's!

    i am so sick of this excuse that the way she acts is how every other normal 19 year old acts. i'm 19, and her behavior is beyond disgusting. even the sluttiest girls i know don't live up to her lifestyle. since when is it "normal" for a 19 year old girl to prance around without a bra and underwear. anyone i know would be mortified if someone got a picture of their vagina like what happened to miley. she needs to calm herself because her fame won't last forever.

    What I dislike about her tho, is that she seems desperate to get away from the 'little girl' image so she would do anything for that. Smoking pot is neither a big deal, is a lame drug to be honest haha. She really needs to grow up and stop trying to get attention, thats what 16 years old do the best.

    I didn't know that doing drugs and acting like her was being a " Regular 19 year old".
    and I'm 20, seriously out of all my friends and people i know only a handful act like her, but most of them are in jail cus you know for everyone else doing drugs and drinking alcohol is against the law, and can get you in alot of trouble…

    I have a copy of this actual Playboy from October 1978 and it is so mild by today's standards. The only thing scandalous about what she is actually doing is sitting in front of the word, "Playboy."

    Reading playboy is not scandalous at all. I really do not see what the big deal is. Little girl who used to be Hannah Montana fans have grown up and moved on with there life and they either still love Miley or they don't. I read playboy at a younger age than 19 and guess what NOTHING TERRIBLE HAPPENED. why- because I had a parent to raise me and not my television.
