Simon Cowell pampers x factor contestants

Aww! Simon Cowell, you shouldn't have.

The creator of X Factor appreciates the 160 contestants singing their hearts out so much that he dropped $500,000 to upgrade their Miami hotel accommodations.

Instead of warming up their vocals in a "regular" hotel, the singers competing for the 32 spots on the show will staying at the exclusive Mondrian Miami South Beach Hotel.

To make the man known for being a meanie look even nicer, he's even paying for all of their meals during the audition process!

That's a pretty nice gesture from the guy who regularly berated auditions while judging American Idol.

Maybe he got a visit from the Ghost of Christmas Reality Competition Past, Present and Future last week! LOLz!

Good for him, it's nice to see him taking care of the hands that will feed him. :)
