Most people know that you have to give respect to get respect, but apparently, no one ever told Mitt Romney's aides.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee continued his somewhat disastrous trip overseas on Tuesday by visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Solider in Warsaw, Poland.
While reporters were asking for a statement "about some of the mishaps" throughout his travels — like when he questioned London's readiness for the Olympics — aide Rick Gorka lost his cool and said:
“Kiss my *ss, this is a Holy site for the Polish people. Show some respect.”
Probably not the BEST choice of words when asking for respect, right?
He called to apologize about a half hour later, but considering his boss has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons since crossing the Atlantic, telling reporters to kiss an *ss on Holy ground is the last thing the campaign needed.
