Polish Protesters Call For The Cancelation Of Madonna's Warsaw Concert In Latest MDNA Controversy!

Has there been a country in Europe that Madonna has been to during her MDNA tour that HASN'T gotten upset with her in the process?!

Fresh off the heels of her Paris show controversy, Catholic and veterans' groups in Poland are protesting the pop legend, as her show there tonight falls on the anniversary of the 1994 Warsaw Uprising, the city's failed revolt against Nazi occupation!

Many are upset because of the imagery used throughout the show, and have started online campaigns urging people not to attend, 50,000 whom have already signed, as well as deface billboards promoting the show all over Warsaw!

However, concert organizers have offered to show a clip about the Uprising before the performance, as spokesperson Ania Pietrzak explains:

"It is an important moment in Polish history, so we have decided to remind people of that moment."

Well, we're happy to hear that they've agreed to pay tribute to an obviously very important moment in Polish history!

We're sure Madge means no disrespect!

What do U think? Should the concert be canceled or allowed to go on?

Um…I think you mean the 1944 uprising. I'm PRETTY sure the Nazis had been cleared out by 1994.

  2. 2

It was the 1944 uprising - not 1994. And I don't think Madonna really cares who she disrespects as long as it gets her attention.

  3. 3

""1994 Warsaw Uprising," god you are so fucking stupid, cocksucker,.

  4. 4

Re: raypearson – He really is a stupid cocksucker. :D
Chick-fil-A was fucking PACKED. Not an empty seat inside, and the line for the drive-thru went all the way around the building. If you were thinking, Perez, that no one supports them, I can tell you that you've lost your teeny mind. Spin it any way you want, I saw the crowd with my own eyes, and the employees were EXTREMELY cheerful about today (even the gay ones). And not one protester in sight, pansy. I had a delicious meal, and will be going back soon to enjoy another one. That company has a shitload more support than you and your gays do. So are you standing by your convictions and protesting CFA? Or are you sitting on your ass, stealing stories, and doing absolutely nothing to support and justify the hate you've spewed? All you ever do is run your mouth, you lazy, good for nothing prick.

    Maleconazo uprising: 1994, Warsaw uprising: 1944 :-)

    Americans and historical knowledge…nuff said.

  7. 7

Re: lord flashheart – Don't judge all Americans by the gay bully who owns this site. HE is definitely an illiterate, uneducated tool. But he's not representative of most of us. One would think that a dumbass foreigner who's jealous of not being born here would know better than to generalize, but … it's sad that you're no smarter than the Americans you presume to criticize, loser. Please do the gene pool a favor and jump off a cliff.

Jealous of what exactly? you cannot be fucking serious,
You useless waste of fucking space.
Crawl back to your cave you oxygen thief.
    Deluded Wanker!!!!!!!1

Always generating controversy, doesn't care who she hurts or offends, and she doesn't even care if calling a woman a Nazi is true or not, as long as it furthers her career. Ignorant trash!

  11. 11

no she should definitely perform. Her show often includes imagery and messages in defiance of tollerance, which would actually be right in line with the Warsaw Uprising.
As far as any upsetting religious images; well, theres' certain BS in the Catholic Church that needs a little confronting, as much as ever. Glad Madonna has had the balls to perform in defiance against the Catholic churchs descriminating hypocrisy. And they've always hated her for that.

  12. 12

oops! meant to say "her shows often include imagery and messages in defiance of INTOLLERANCE, which is right in line with the Warsaw Uprising" Few superstar artists, if any, stand against prejudice and intolerance, as much as Madonna. The Warsaw Uprising was exactly about that, so it's actually perfect for Madonna to perform there tonight!.

Re: Yes You Bore Me – you have got to be a plant by the perez hilton site to generate more comments. no one could actually be as ridiculous as you come across. seriously if you are actually a real person and you get this worked up over a silly gossip site you really need to put things in perspective.

    Re: fuck the haters
People who go to concerts are usually high or drunk, or just extremely stoked to be in the presence of their idols. Any message of tolerance or "artistry" that she's trying to convey is just going to go over the heads of the majority of the people .

Re: lord flashheart – no, peerex and his knowledge, not mine nor anyone else who posted to this horse shit report of the ignorant cocksucker

  17. Loupoo says – reply to this

All of you are missing the point. Madonna is way too old and out dated to be doing concerts. She looks scary and in no way is attractive. She had her shining moment in the sun back in the 80's and 90's. But at this point she is just a circus freak. She needs to accept the obvious and just stay at home and raise her kids!!

    Re: kappuhcheenoh
I think those two mentioned are one and the one. I can at least tell "Yes You Bore Me" is the person formerly known as "La Garse." I bet she got her former account snatched.

    Re: Jessie James
Oops…meant to say "one and the same" LOL

She is a very shrewd businesswoman. It's probably no coincidence her show in Poland falls on the same day as this particular anniversary. I've never been a fan of hers, but as someone once said about her (I believe it was Streisand), she definitely has chutzpah!

  24. 24

Do you NOT know ANY history, Perez? It was 1944. In 1994, the Berlin Wall had already been taken down, which was WAY past the Warsaw Uprising. My God, you are fucking stupid!Re: lord flashheart – I know, right? It's like education is not valued anymore in America.Re: Yes You Bore Me – Perez Hilton is a PUBLIC FIGURE. Therefore, whatever he does is going to give an impression (most likely a bad one) of what an American is. It's really unfair, but it comes with the territory of being a high profile individual.

Ok… dumb question perhaps, but … Madonna (and her fans) seem to talk on and on and on a lot about "tolerance" and "intolerance," … even her quotes are full of those words.
I read on another article her quote: "There seems to be a growing intolerance…"
intolerance of what, exactly? violent and rude behaviour? ignorance of the feelings of different countries and cultures? disrespect for their laws and their feelings?
I'm just sayin'.. perhaps people other than Madonna and her fans are getting pretty tired of her "intolerance" of other's feelings.
I know that I am. The more I read of her in the news and the more I read of her here at this website, the more I think that SHE is the one who is intolerant - of any views or requests or feelings or rules or laws or cultures - other than her own.
She is a selfish uncaring bitch these days. Maybe she was popular for good reason several years ago, but she's turned into a royal piece of shit.

wow Madonna is really rocking this year as if it was 1990! and they say she's done… LOL, it's funny how big she is that for her standards having a number 1 album in 50 countries, performed at the Super Bowl (with 114M ppl watching, more than the game itself), a world tour selling out where ever she goes (and don't say it's only Europe… cause actually America has more dates than ALL of Europe…), won a Golden Globe early this year, and many more! and all of these is considered a FLOP, DONE, OVER… LOL I guess being Madonna is hard! she can't even compete with herself!

  27. 27

without all the drama the show would prob be dead boring with her long speeches she did all this stuff in 1984 same recipe as now just different era got to give her credit for getting away with it 2x

  28. DB says – reply to this

Re: Loupoo – Millions would disagree with you about her attractiveness and this is certainly a matter of opinion and so I would suggest you stop trying to speak for everyone else and only yourself. Obviously your core belief is that 'old' people shouldn't do what they want, and I love how Madonna challenges you on that, and that is what she is all about, even today she is challenging narrow-minded, immature, beliefs held by a vocal minority.

  29. dangerwilrobinson says – reply to this

I honestly don't think Madonna cares one way or the other. She keeps saying shit like she's not trying to make enemies, but it's clear that she serves one person and that's herself. She has no respect for anyone or anything. Continually defacing crucifixes, even though she's Jewish. Insulting other pop stars and politicians. It wreaks of desperation. Especially with how bad her album is and now Cher has one coming out with contributions from Timbaland, Pink and Lady Gaga. I know, this is where Madonna fans attack me. The woman built her career out of having an opinion, but when you have a negative one towards her you get attacked. And for the record, I don't "Hate" her, as I used to be a big fan. Just think she's lost her edge, her originality and her point of view.

  30. Saint Thomas says – reply to this

Re: dangerwilrobinson – not to "attack" you, but how is her album "bad"?? I mean you can dislike it, but it's a hit within the fans and the critics praised it a lot, and they say it didn't sell well, it didn't sell well for MADONNA standards but actually it's the 5th most sold album of 2012 so far… also it's reasonable for her to have an "opinion" against crucifixes, even tho she's "jewish" she was once catholic….

Thank you, I've recently been looking for info about this topic for ages and yours is the best I've discovered so far. But, what about the bottom line? Are you sure about the source?

  32. Be-Atch says – reply to this

Madonna is a WHORE who f*cked record producers to get where she is…she is now old, and vain, and she is so stupid with that dumb religion of hers…she is truly an unhappy person, and no man stays with her, unless they are young, dumb, and have no money. She needs major therapy. Her fugly daughter is becoming a whore as well…sad. I feel for those adopted kids, too. Bizaar that someone of her mental instability can adopt kids, but I guess moolah talks …..notice how they have to cum from third world countries …? JUST SAY'N ….

  33. DB says – reply to this

Re: Be-Atch – Speaking of dumb, stupid, unhappy and needing therapy I suggest you go look in the mirror. Your English is awful, but I guess your lack of education would explain your anger and stupidity. For someone that you hate so much you sure do spend a lot of time checking out posts on her to make a comment. Obsessed much? Speaking of sleeping with people to get a record deal isn't that what Mariah and Celine did too? Just saying…….

Madonna has delivered politically leading messages at her concerts for a LONG time. I won't support her by attending her concerts because of it. U2 and others now do the same. I wish they all would just sing. That's what I'll pay for.
