Melanie Amaro Unleashes Her Debut Single & Brings Us Back To Life!

| Filed under: Music MinuteX FactorMelanie AmaroReality TV

Ever since Melanie Amaro was crowned the winner of the first season of The X Factor back in December, we’ve been anxiously awaiting her debut single!

Although we got teased when her Pepsi commercial — featuring her remix of Respect — aired during the Super Bowl in February, Mz. Amaro now has a song to call her very own!

Take a listen to Mel’s smashing new single Don’t Fail Me Now (above)!

LOVE! SO infectious and worth the wait!

The Darkchild-produced track definitely documents her journey thus far and is just a taste of what’s to come for Melanie!

Her as-yet-untitled album is currently in the works, with producers like Tricky Stewart attached to the project!

We can’t wait to hear what else our songbird has in store!

She actually has taken the whole last year off because LA Reid wanted her to lose weight — so there isn't much Photoshopping going on! I'm so proud of her!

it sounds like something jordin sparks would do and it sounds corny and way overproduced.Wheres the soul? I knew when she first won the show, she didnt have the "it" factor and this really shows it…

Totally devoid of soul. This could be anyone.

Melanie is AMAZING!!! No matter what Epic had her release as her first single, people are gonna criticize it. She did not want to be known as only a big ballad singer, but there are definitely ballads on her CD, with Tricky Stewart involved. She will have a variety of music on that CD, and it will be amazing!!!

she looks great! at first I wasn't sure if I liked the song but I woke up this morning with the song in my head! It's a grower I think!

Melanie has a fantastic voice but I too feel this is overproduced and that too much is going on that doesn't complement her gorgeous voice. Please simplify and let Melanie's voice speak for itself.
