One "momentary indiscretion" doth not a career break!
Kristen Stewart has landed herself a serious film role as the tormented soul, Peyton Loftis, in the screen adaptation of Lie Down In Darkness.
Huh. She's getting a lot of practice doing that right now, isn't she?!
Based on the 1951 William Styron novel, the film revolves around Peyton as she struggles through life with a jealous mother and an incestuous, alcoholic father.
Not only does she have to go through her days fearing those two creeps, she faces constant agony as she and her crippled sister are always compared — making her feel like total crap!
Well sh*t! She wanted serious and she got it!
Let's just hope she keeps things professional with her director this time around…
