Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!
Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!
The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.
Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:
"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
She added:
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

she's actually a really good singer she's just has her own style and it's more about creating a mood/feeling, her music is so dramatic, amazing instrumentation, profound lyrics yet so simple, and she transports you to a cinematic era. Plus she's such a sweetie pie.
I love her.
Lana Del Rey is the real deal. Her music is quintessential to our generation and lyrical. Her voice may not have soul like most would prefer but it has plenty of "spirit" transporting you to whatever place shes trying to move you to. I love her style and her music …i love how she acts out her craft in real life. A true artist is a deluded one … i love her delusions … i certainly roll with it.
Uhh….. I'm really getting tired of all the ego enabling paps in LA. This was an obvious set up. The paps aren't just waiting for celebrities to show up at taco bell. Her people called and set it up, that's what non-A-list celebrities do. And of course she made sure to do all the coy poses she's been practicing in the mirror to show she's playful, girly and fun when in reality, everyone saw how she bombed SNL and no one takes her seriously as a singer for that sole reason. Her team has made some bad business decisions to promote her. Besides, what's the point in calling the paps if you're not going to give them a show. And the name, "Lana Del Rey" really?!? I wish singers/celebrities would just use their real name. Real talent doesn't need a gimmick.

There are little jabs at every opportunity…I hope Perez isn't trying to bully LDR, because that's what it sounds like :/ btw many many entertainers get stage names for a variety of reasons. I know a singer who adopted a different name because a) her unique last name is shared by someone famous she doesnt want to be recognized with and b) she wanted a name to suit her persona. Why does everyone act like 3 years can't change your looks/style?! All she did was dye her hair, grow it out and start shopping at thrift stores….we could all look that way if we wanted to but no. People of today think dressing like the early 90s is retro!!!

I feel sorry for people who don't get the power of her voice and music and what it's trying to say. Yes her voice isn't the same autotuned or powerhouse-shouty voice people are expected to like: it's soft, breathy, vintage and probably too sophisticated for some people to appreciate. Plus she is effing gorgeous which certainly helps.
