We understand how hot this debate has become, but breaking the law to get your message across is NOT the answer!
A Chick-fil-A in Torrance, California was vandalized overnight with graffiti that reads, "Tastes Like Hate."
That definitely will not help the cause of gay-rights activists planning "National Same-Sex Kiss Day," which asks same-sex couples to take a photo or video of themselves kissing in the fast food joint.
You can't fight fire with fire, so don't try fighting hate with more hate! While we can't just sit around and tolerate discrimination in hopes that it will just magically disappear one day, we can't stoop to this level.
Protest what you think is wrong. Write letters to elected officials to ask them to take action. Have intelligent discussions about the issue with your peers. Support organizations fighting to prevent more injustices toward the LGBT community, but DON'T break the law in the process because that will only diminish the legitimacy and importance of the movement.
