M Night Shyamalan syfy pilot proof

M. Night Shyamalan may have fallen from fans' grace after making such shyamalbombs as Lady In The Water, The Happening and The Last Airbender, but that's not stopping him from trying new things.

For the first time in his career, the writer and director plans to put one his visions on the small screen. He is working with SyFy and Buffy the Vampire Slayer producer Marti Noxon to develop a pilot for a show called Proof.

The proposed series would revolve around the son of a billionaire tech genius who offers a large reward for anyone who can find proof of life after death after his parents perish in a tragic accident.

Inneresting…

Batman meets Ghost…we kinda dig the premise. Hopefully we'll like the finished product too.

He's not giving up on features though. In fact, Shyamalan just wrapped a science fiction film called After Earth, which stars Will Smith and his son, Jaden.

"That's not fair. This man created The Last Airbender whose release was ill timed and marketed as an action, when it was more of a family movie and in the defense of this franchise, i'd like to see the rest of the books realized in real life. I liked it, and in fact i pick the movie over the rest of you commenting." (so :-P )

Re: Not Jopaaa – avatar: the last airbender was the best tv show and he changed every detail about it. So it wasn't the ill timing it was the fact that he ruined the best show in the world
