Pauly D Is One Of The Top Ten Highest Earning DJs In The World

Jersey Shore star Pauly D is celebrating tonight because Forbes just named him the No. 7 top-earning DJ!

He took to Twitter to share the good news with his fans and tweeted:

In the publication's article that focuses on his rise from reality star to international touring DJ, Pauly says:

"Everybody was skeptical at first, because how everybody heard about me is probably from Jersey Shore,” he says. “But now I’m six seasons deep in the show and I’ve been touring all over the country, touring with major pop acts and stuff like that. That legitimizes everything, and they’re starting to say, 'This kid isn’t just a reality star, he’s an actual DJ.'"

So what was the salary that put him on Forbes' first-ever top-earning DJs list?

$11 MILLION!!!

Damn! Sounds like somebody owes MTV a really long thank you letter. Ha!

Congrats, Pauly! We're very proud of how far you've come in your career!

    TYpical Diva Electronic shit. If he wasn't on the show he'd be playing in 20 persons club in Trenton. This guy is the only likeable personality on the show but as a DJ, he's a bit of a joke.

    Life is so fair….Right? Talent and brains sometimes has nothing to do with making a lot of money. I bet he's the greatest guy in the world, but he didn't go to Harvard and pronounces filet mignon, Filet Mig-Non.

    This is complete bull sh*t! I know too many djs that WAY more talented than this so called dj & they are more deserving of this kind of title. Problem is, they weren't on some crappy "reality" show to get them the attention of idiots. We should just file him under the Paris Hilton Style DJ & forget about him.
