Train Wants Their Song Marry Me To Apply To ALL Couples!

| Filed under: Gay Gay GayMusic MinuteInspirationLGBT

Train is all about equality, so we imagine they were pretty peeved when they discovered their song Marry Me was being used on a website campaigning against same-sex marriage.

We don't know the particular website and don't care to because we wouldn't want to give their ignorant message any more traffic than it's already getting.

What we do know is that Australia is trying to pass the Marriage Amendment Act 2012 to establish marriage equality for same-sex couples, which is AWESOME! Unfortunately, haters gonna hate and they're going to try to use any propaganda they can to influence others.

Since Train didn't write the 2010 song as an anthem for oppression, the band has released a statement reading:

“It was upsetting to us that Marry Me, a love song with no boundaries, was being used to promote an agenda we don't subscribe to. We (Train) take the idea of marriage very seriously, and believe it is the right of all consenting adults, regardless of sexual orientation. Marry Me is about just that, finding that special love and making it last forever. Everyone should be allowed to have that.”

VERY nice choice of words, boys. We couldn't agree more and hopefully a lot of others do too.

Oh shut up. Train is all about getting royalties every time you homos play their awful song, you moron.
Hey Perez, did you see that video posted to in which a man named Adam Smith goes to the Chick-Fil-A drive-through, orders water and then bullies the female employee who serves him? You had to have seen it; it went viral, and was even on the news. Turns out the dude was fired from his job as the CFO of Vante, Inc., a Tucson, Ariz., based medical device manufacturer.
The company he worked for released a statement that says: "The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others."
The SOB thought he'd be a smart ass by taping it and posting it; instead, karma got him in a big way. He went there to be mean to someone, and he ended up losing his job because he's a dick. That's justice and I'm laughing like hell. The asshole should be a wake-up call to you, but you're too stupid to understand that bullying isn't the answer here. All you care is that you want something; that your tactics aren't working and you're getting major backlash will escape you. LOL

Train is such a good artist. His songs inspire me. I hope someday, everybody will realize that we all need to be fair.
