Disney Debuts New Princess! Snow What?!

| Filed under: Royals RoyceBroadway BabiesFilm FlickersDisneyKristen Bell

Well slap a talking cartoon polar bear on our backs, Disney has unveiled their newest icy-tundra dwelling addition to the Disney Princess family…

Princess Anna!

The film, currently titled Frozen, is based on the classic tale of The Snow Queen originally immortalized by Hans Christian Anderson.

The Mouse House version follows Princess Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) and some daring mountain man Kristoff as they adventure around a frozen kingdom eternally trapped in winter, seeking a way to return warmth to the biting wasteland. Unfortunately, the key to unlocking that yearned-for summer lies with the elusive Snow Queen (Idina Menzel).

Dun dun DUUuuuUUUuun!

This already epic-sounding masterpiece is slated to hit screens November 2013. Dayum.

Check out some spankin' new character designs from Frozen (above & below)!

its very exciting news, we haven't had a proper 2D animated flick in a long time my only advise to any market researchers for Disney Animation is to focus on the story line.. story lines are a key to success for films not only box office wise but to make them go down in history like the Lion King for example and keep the facial features like a classic Disney film feature the princess has to look like a dream barbie and at the same time have good characteristics as well as the male lead. Tangeled's original art that came out late 07/beggining of 08 really excited me but the execution of the film was sadly not as great the story line wasn't amazing but it was a sigh of relief after the princess frog!!!
