Penn Badgley Intoxicates Hearts With His Lilac Wine

| Filed under: Music MinutePenn BadgleyGossip Girl

Oh, didn't you know?

When Penn Badgley isn't busy playing Lonely Boy on Gossip Girl, he's invoking Jeff Buckley!

A lot of you were probably first introduced to the wonder of Buckley when his version of Hallelujah serenaded Marissa Cooper's death on The O.C. (as well as the Season 1 finale montage).

But the musical wizard had plenty more where that came from — including a very special cover of Lilac Wine.

And since Penn is playing Jeff Buckley in the upcoming biopic, he took his "research" and performed the beautiful song LIVE at one of New York's lovely little clubs.

He and Leighton Meester need to do a duet. And they need to do one now! Riight?

Maybe together, their voices could bring world peace. Ha!

You want to tell time with style. There are many sensitive men who pretend to be full of bravado to put on their 'maleness'.Those who don't are considered weak or soft, and often their creativity goes unnoticed.
