Bourne Legacy Box Office Numbers Are Looking Good

| Filed under: Matt DamonFilm FlickersMeryl StreepBusiness BlitzJeremy Renner

Our apologies to Matt Damon.

It looks like America has already forgotten the star that breathed new life into the spy action genre.

Based on early estimates, the Jeremy Renner starring Bourne Legacy is on its way to a $46 million opening weekend.

With these numbers, there's a good chance we'll get Bourne again!

Political comedy The Campaign is looking surprisingly strong as well, and is expected to hit around $25 mil!

The Tommy Lee Jones/Meryl Streep love story Hope Springs is set to come in third with around $12 million.

There's dolla dolla bills to be made this weekend! What will U be seeing?

Legacy may start off strong but it'll drop fast when word of mouth gets out. It doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath with the others.

Purely tasteless. Your attempt to make a joke with your "writing over the photo" technique has offended many, myself included. It states: "There was never only one… Person in the theatre". That clearly will be connected to the Colorado shooting, especially since the photo shows Renner holding two handguns. Out of respect for the victims and their families, I suggest you remove this posting.

you are disgusting Perez, was a big fan of yours, but after what you wrote on that picture I am out of here, lots of people died in the theater shooting and none should make fun of that. I am offended by the comments on the pic,as i am sure a lot of others are.

Seriously? Are you kidding me with that comment written over the picture??? For all your preaching about bullying and being a better person, you comment was tasteless and horribly insensitive.

@Every Commenter, Reaching? Don't make the connection that is not there if it offends you…

I just don't get today's casting or the appeal of today's leading men. This guy looks like he should be playing a nerdy high schooler.

The new Bourne movie is the most horrible movie I have ever seen. I am not saything that there are no poeple who will like it, but when I compare it to the other movies….plus it ruins the story. I honestly went to the cinema to see it because I though it was about Jason Bourne but with a different actor, but no, it has nothing to do with Bourne, not really, a photo and a name do not count:(
