Jessica Simpson's Minister Father ARRESTED For DUI!
Joe Simpson, the father of Jessica Simpson, was slapped with an arrest August 4 for driving under the influence of the holy spirit!
Caught on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, cops pulled the 54-year-old over around 10pm. Suspecting him of boozin' and cruisin' they slapped the cuffs on him and gave him a deluxe night behind bars.
Then, at 9:41am the next day, he posted bail and got the hell on outta there! …guess the bedding wasn't up to par!
Since this is his first offense, he probably won't go to jail if any charges are filed. He'll get a fine slapped on the wrist and be free to go back to church … or more likely managing his children's careers!

I've never been a fan of Joe Simpson but lay off. Everyone makes mistakes. You don't know how drunk he was. People definitely should not drink and drive but sometimes you can blow over the limit and not realize. I did a couple of years ago, after only 2 glasses of wine. It was thrown out but I definitely did not think I was drunk.
