Following her return, the artist took a moment to thank everyone for their "prayers, love, and support" -- and especially the North Bergen Police Department for bringing her home safe.
Sharing a picture alongside the NYPD, Miz Quigley penned:
We totally support the beloved holiday classic A Christmas Story coming to Broadway, but we can't extend that same support for an unnecessary direct-to-DVD sequel.
That's exactly what you'll be seeing wherever DVD/Blu-rays are sold starting October 30th.
The sequel will once again revolve around Ralphie, but now he's an awkward teenager instead of an adorable kid. He's totally over that Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle his dad bought him in the first one and now he wants a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible.
Daniel Stern — the bumbling burglar we all know and love from Home Alone — is taking a stab at playing The Old Man, while Ralphie's friends Flick and Schwartz are returning to triple dog dare him to do something else he knows he shouldn't (but we know he will).
We love the original, but since TBS plays it for 24 hours every year, we never had any need to purchase our own copy. Marathon or not, we won't feel any need to purchase the sequel either.
