Ed Sheeran Wishes YOU Were At The London Olympics! Watch Emotional Performance HERE!!

| Filed under: AnglophiliaMusic MinutePerezTVEd SheeranJessie J

Ignite our hearts with your fiery hot-sauce, Ed Sheeran!

The gingeriest of tea-biscuits recently teased a possible Pink Floyd, Olympics Closing Ceremony collaboration, which was later denied by the psychedelic rockers…

BUT Ed DID perform a gorgeous and emotional acoustic cover of Floyd's classic tune Wish You Were Here, accompanied by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason (above)!!!

Our dude sure DOES favor those hoodies! Way to dress down for such a grand occasion, Ed… Ha!

Ed and Nick were just one blazing, musical flame from the raging fire that was last night's London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, and with stellar acts from The Spice Girls, The Who, Boy George, Jessie J, Queen, and oh so much more, that harmonious heat was felt across this lovely planet of ours!

Heart-infused tears! What a fortnight it's been! But now we can look forward to the Olympic icy tundra of 2014!

Brrrr-illiant!!

Favorite PF song (and album) EVER… he did a great job, IMO

Loved his performance but he could have dressed up a little! He's also not your dude, he's British and therefore ours.

Ed was AMAZING. That's really all that needs to be said. However, he can dress as he pleases. I love the fact that he just wore a hoodie and jeans. He doesn't have to impress anybody with how he looks. People should just be in awe of his amazing voice and talent, though he is a beautiful person as well inside & out.

He did do a great job, however, it's a shame that Gilmour didn't show up or the Stones, or Bowie but had to have their songs "covered" by other bands.. The other performers were kind of schlocky IMO
