X Factor UK Judge Gary Barlow Pulls Out Of Promo After Family Tragedy

Dawn Gary Barlow Baby

SO sad!

It seems X Factor UK judge, Gary Barlow, won’t be taking part in the show’s season nine promo this week!

After his wife, Dawn, tragically gave birth to a stillborn baby earlier this month, Barlow decided it was best to take time to grieve over the couple’s loss.

While he managed to pull through his group Take That’s performance at the Olympics closing ceremony, it seems now he won’t be attending the show’s press launch.

Gary’s fellow judges, Louis Walsh, Tulisa Constostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger will move forth with the promo tomorrow, for the show’s August 18 premiere.

How devastating…we can’t even imagine what Gary and Dawn are going through.

We send our best wishes to the two and positive vibes at this time.

Oh Gaz. My heart is breaking for him and his family. He is someone who always has his priorities straight. I'm glad he's staying home with Dawn and the kids. They'd stay together for a while longer before he gets back to work.

I have no idea how he managed to hold it together during the Olympic performance. What a brave, classy man he is. He handled it with total professionalism and dignity. Singing those lyrics was a mammoth task. He is usually a flawless singer when he sings live but that day, I saw his voice crack a bit on a couple occasions. I was amazed that he showed up and sang Rule the world the way he did. I'm so, so proud of him. I am in awe of his strength of character. What a man! LOVE HIM!
