Rihanna isn't letting any silly legal tiffs with her former accountants get her down!

The singer is back in El Lay after spending a majority of her summer vacationing across Europe, and was spotted catching up with a lady friend while out to dinner at Scott Conant's Scarpetta in Beverly Hills earlier in the week!

According to sources at the eatery, she was dressed in cut-off shorts, a military jacket and strappy red heels while she chowed down on spaghetti and sipped wine!

The witness furthers:

"She [seemed to be] in great spirits. She was even dancing in her seat at the table at one point during her meal."

Wow! That must have been some DAMN good spaghetti if it was causing her bust a move in the middle of a crowded restaurant!

LOLz!

Remind us to have what she's having if we ever grab some grub there! Ha!

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
