The musician sounded pretty mad on Twitter about the whole ordeal, but didn't get the police involved because he thought he might have been "getting punk'd" and didn't "want to waste tax dollars on pranks."
Then this creepy video hit the web, in which a masked YouTube user takes credit for the theft!
We would think that might persuade the Black Eyed Pea to call the cops, but nope!

The car's owner sounded pretty relieved when he tweeted back:
"My car has been found…#bestnewsever thank you so much ryan…"
Still, we're a little curious what actually happened. Care to explain will.i.am???
