Bradley Cooper Starry Eyed For A Star Is Born?

Bradley Cooper is apparently in the running for the male lead in the very anticipated film A Star Is Born.
The remake of the 1976 classic will be directed by Clint Eastwood and will star Beyoncé, but the male role is still very much up for grabs.
Before Coop was in it — and hopefully to win it — other possible actors for the role included Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith & Tom Cruise.
Between this possible role and his stint on Broadway - Bradley Cooper must've gotten rid of that Hangover; he is making some BIG moves these days!

As she displayed so clearly in Dream Girls, Beyonce's acting skills are limited. They would be better off with Jennifer Hudson.

While I hate remakes, if anyone can pull this off it will be Clint.
A star is born was once a role that the great Elvis Presley wanted to do but was prevented from doing by his manager Parker. Elvis was very, very well known and established at the time he nearly took the role. I think Bradley Cooper is not established enough to reach for such heights, he should let an A-listed male have it.
