Real World Star Found Dead

Sad news.

Joey Kovar, a cast member on Real World: Hollywood and Celebrity Rehab, has been found dead at a friend's home near Chicago.

Although his family members suspect drugs were the cause of the 29-year-olds untimely demise, we really have no idea what the official cause is at this point.

He has been battling addiction for most of his adult life and even left the MTV reality show to enter rehab halfway through the season.

Such a shame he could never quite find the help he needed, but may he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family!

Ugh.. that sucks! Didn't he have a pregnant girlfriend on celeb rehab? Poor kid. ANother child without a Father due to Drug addiction. Very very sad news. So young.

R.I.P. Another one of Dr. Drews failures?

How is it Dr. Drews fault? Rehab doesn't help if you can't commmit 100%. If he was falling off the wagaon and wanted help he should have checked into rehab-any facility could have helped.

This is so sad, he seemed like he had a great heart and love for people in general. It's so sad how addiction took his life at such a young age. My heart cries out for him and all the other addicts that have to deal with unfair deaths, life is just too hard for some folks. RIP, you will be remembered.

Re: XOXO From* LV – Agreed. People can so easily blame the person who was trying to help them instead of pointing the blame at the person who chose to ignore the help. Rehab can only help you as much as you let it. The doctors there do not hold special powers that magically make people get clean and stay sober. Patients have to work long and hard to achieve that goal. And of course there is a large failure rate. People have to stay at it their whole life. Some people can do it and some can't.
