Joseph Gordon-Levitt Talks About His Involvement In Another Batman Movie

Remember at the end of The Dark Knight Rises when Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character…

Wait, you still haven't seen the movie yet? What's wrong with you!? LOLz!

If that's the case, we strongly suggest you stop reading then.

Anyway! For those of you who have seen the conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and know what happens at the end, you're probably a little curious if the director was setting up another sequel.

The actor who plays Gotham police officer John Blake may have an answer for you!

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, JGL was asked if that final shot was hinting toward his own franchise and this is what he said:

“I don’t get to decide those things. That’s the honest truth, man. You think I get to make those decisions? I don’t think it’s necessarily a setup [for a sequel]. I think it’s a great ending for that trilogy. Even if you go back to Batman Begins, he’s talking about how Batman is more than a man. It’s a symbol. A hero can be anybody, and we all have heroes inside of us. That’s a theme that runs throughout the trilogy.”

So…he's sayin' there's a chance!

We have no idea what the cinematic future for Batman is, but we wouldn't mind seeing Joseph Gordon-Levitt crusading around Gotham as Robin. Would U?

If they chose to redo Batman, they should do Batman Beyond.

I hope they would give another character a chance though, Marvel does a decent job of that. It's extremely sad to me that obscure characters like Guardians of the Galaxy will get a movie before Wonder Woman, Flash, etc.

I would love to see him play Robin, I think he did an amazing job. Although, I don't know how the film would look without Christopher Nolan.
