Kelsey Grammer Strips On Leno, Then Blames Emmy Snub On Political Leanings

| Filed under: TV NewsPolitikJay LenoJon HammEmmys

It's Frasier vs. Ali the Emmys!

Kelsey Grammer is phenomenal as the Mayor of Chicago in Boss and he's miffed about being passed over for a nomination!!

Feeling slighted is fine. Acting like a sore loser is NOT.

Ch-Ch-Check out his Tonight Show sit-down (above) and watch the usually lovable TV vet accuse the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences of bias, suggesting they voted against him because of his Republican leanings!!

We understand your frustration but you weren't passed up for the cast of Sponge BobBryan Cranston and Jon Hamm seriously deserve the praise they've received!!

But we still love ya, Kels! Especially since you flashed all that skin!

What he said is true. If you're a conservative in Hollywood, you're like the black sheep of the family. Don't deny it Perez, don't act like everything's equal in Tinseltown when we all know it's not.

He's not nominated because he doesn't deserve it. The only person you could make a case against being nominated is the guy from Downton Abbey, and there is a long list of people that should be in there over this clown. If it was personal, maybe it was because he is a colossal douche bag? Never really heard anyone say anything other than him being a real bad person. Oh but I assume it's all just a big conspiracy to keep this perfect human being from really shining. Wasn't he nominated every year for that horrendous sitcom? Where was the liberal biases then?

He totally deserved a nomination. Didn't he already win a Golden Globe? That's usually a shoe in for at least a nomination for an Emmy. Boss is a fantastic show! Hollywood is like high school….if you're not a liberal, you're not with the "in" crowd. Pathetic really since most entertainers have such low self esteem to begin with.

The Hollywood Foreign Press (Golden Globes) and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmys) are completely different voters. The Golden Globes are typically a precursor to the Oscar nominations, not the Emmys! I agree with MewLover34. If they didn't nominate him for personal reasons, they wouldn't have nominated him for Frasier either. There are a lot of excellent dramas on t.v. now which means there is a lot of competition, and he already has five Emmys for Frasier so it's not like he's someone who has been passed over a lot.

His political leanings have nothing to do with the snub. There are plenty of republican actors that do well in Hollywood. He's just an ass-hat and that's why he didn't win and, there was someone else who did better. It also doesn't help his case that he treated his ex-wife and family poorly during his divorce, cheated on her and impregnated another woman during that time and asked for custody of only one of his children. Ass-hat!

Maybe because at the time they were making nominations you had just come off of having the affair with your mistress wife. Let's see … you started banging the flight attendant while you were still married; got her pregnant while you were still married; planned your wedding to the mistress while you were still married and basically paid off your wife so you can marry the mistress on the date you wanted. Nooo that could not possibly be one of the reasons.

His political leaning, certainly doesn't help, FOR SURE.
