    She was never signed to be there. And was it even a premier? Thought it just was a screening because where I live "On the Road" has been up in the cinema for weeks and I live in Sweden!

    Perez, I've never seen such an acute case of schadenfreude as the one you got going with Kristen Stewart. I think Jen Aniston needs to corner you in a parking garage and confront your cyber-bullying ass YET AGAIN.

    Perez, I love your blog and read it everyday….but why are you so harsh on her? She's 22 and made a mistake….ease up man..you're starting to look biased towards her like she personally did something to you. Didn't your 22 year old self ever do something you wish you hadn't?

    Here's what will happen, because it always does: celebrity makes a mistake and is hated for it & the media attacks them non-stop. The celebrity goes into hiding for a while until things quiet down a bit. Once the media feeding frenzy is over, the celebrity gently steps back into the public and, with head hung low in remorse, sincerely apologizes. Since American loves a good "knock 'em down then pick 'em up again after their punishment" story, Kristen will be welcomed back with open arms once the media decides she's been punished enough. Then the tides will turn from "OMG WE HATE HER" to "SHE PAID THE PRICE, PAID HER DUES, SHE'S FORGIVEN, WELCOME BACK". It happens all the time, ie: Hugh Grant, Charlie Sheen, Vanessa Williams, Ellen Degeneres, Britney Spears, Robert Downey Jr., David Letterman, etc. Kristen will join this club in time.

    I am not a fan of hers, but how could she win by going? I think it showed maturity that she wasn't there. It would have made the screening about her relationship and out shined the other actors. Of course Kerouac would role over in his grave seeing the butchery of his respected book. If she refused to answer questions that would have been the headlines. Her ex man is keeping it classy, I think the more he down plays it she will be able to put things behind her.

    She's had a solid career since her pre-teen days when her co-stars were doing nothing. Where's the backlash for the older–predatory–director? Movie casting couches are still with us, unfortunately. Best advice: Let he/she, who is without sin, throw the first stone.

    Actually, I don't know how ""much anticipated" this film is. According to the reviews from Cannes, they were all petty disappointed with it, and they all felt the film didn't capture much of Kerouac's book. So I'm going to take a gander and say Kristen isn't all that "incredible" in it, so much as young hollywood's acting standards are greatly lowered. She's awful in everything I've ever seen her in, with that same, mopey face she thinks translates into tension, or something. Frankly, I'll be glad when she's just a distant memory and we can start once again obsessing about more talented, and not so arrogant, people.

    It was hardly a "glitzy" premiere, it was a bunch of people sitting around a courtyard on picnic blankets- I was there! As the guy introducing the movie pointed out, the only cast members that were there were brits who live in london anyway- Kristen was never scheduled to attend. Get your facts straight!

    It was the UK premiere, but I went and it was very low key- an open air screening with picnicing members of the general public, not a "glitzy" even packed with celebs- you're completely right in saying that Kristen was never scheduled to attend, much to my regret! Hehe.

    I think comments and media coverage such as this are way out of line. You continue to show pictures of the event, old story lines, and repeating the events; hoping to stir the public, and continuing to hurt them all. If you want to give a story, give facts, not fiction, stop rehashing and linking to the event. Stop everything and let them all heal. Take down your old stories, pictures and fan comments so they can't be found if you really care about her wellbeing. Oh, I forgot, you're in this for the money. You don't really care about her health and wellbeing. You’re just pretending you care. Ooops, my bad!

    This is horrible….. So many people make a mistake like cheating everyday and the world doesn't care……. But when one celebrity does, the whole world is HORRIFIED. leave the poor thing alone, bully.

    I watched the video of them interviewing Rob's mate, Tom. He was asked specifically about Kristen. Rob's name was never mentioned. The scandal was never mentioned. Way to twist things to fit your ongoing agenda.
