Tony Scott Was NOT Battling Brain Cancer, Autopsy Pending

| Filed under: Film FlickersR.I.P.Sad Sad

Tony Scott No brain Cancer

So sad.

As we previously reported, director Tony Scott committed suicide on Sunday, when he jumped from a bridge in San Pedro, California.

While it was rumored that he was battling depression, there were also reports that Scott had been dealing with “inoperable brain cancer.”

Now it seems those rumors are completely false, as the late director’s wife has confirmed he did NOT have brain cancer.

Scott’s wife also cited no other major medical conditions that would cause Tony to take his own life, as autopsy results are still pending.

Our thoughts go out to his friends and family at this time.

Rest in peace, Tony.

Depression is real. I am sure this is the cause. I have battled it my whole life. No matter how awesome your life is…how amazing "others see it as"…if you struggle with it, nothing seems normal. I wish his family all of my condolences. He was one of my favorite directors. You Will Be Missed Tony.

Makes me so sad that so many people dismiss DEPRESSION as being the same as being depressed. Everyone alive is depressed at some time in their life due to situations. Depression is an illness and is REAL. And I guess it'll never be taken seriously, sadly.
