Sounds like Amanda Bynes MIGHT just be able to breathe a sigh of relief…that is, for now!
Earlier, we reported how Amanda was involved in yet ANOTHER car accident on Monday night, when she was rear-ended in El Lay!
While the woman who bumped into Mz. Bynes’ car claimed Amanda made a “dangerous manuever,” which caused her to stop short, it seems she might be let off the hook!
Attorney Tony Slaten — though, not Amanda’s — stated:
"Typically, when someone is rear-ended, it's not their fault. It's the person who is doing the rear-ending that is typically at fault because there is a principal in civil law to accidents that the person who had the last chance to avoid the accident is typically at fault. That is why when someone rear-ends you, it almost always the person who is behind that is at fault because they are supposed to leave enough room to avoid the accident."
Sounds like even though Amanda has had a history of reckless driving, that really doesn’t give the woman any reason to be let off easy!
However, Bynes could always end up facing 30 days license suspension if a judge ends up citing her as a “habitual traffic offender.”
Still, all the reason to go ahead and hire that driver, Amanda! Might as well not risk any other road mishaps!
