Put On Your Headphones And RAWK OUT To Anjulie!

We CANNOT get enough of this song!

Thankfully, we now have some visual accompaniment to go along with it!

Ch-ch-check out the dayglo-infused music video for Anjulie's new single, Headphones, off of her upcoming, yet-to-be-titled second album (above)!

It's like if M.I.A. and Santigold had a pop star baby!

And she grew up listening to Heartbeats by The Knife!

We are VERY excited to see where this one's career takes her!

So far, so good, gurl!

Like you said…it's like M.I.A and Santigold had a pop star baby only they didn't and she's just copying both of them hardcore minus the actual tunes. Hands in my pockets? really? M.I.A nor Santigold would ever put that on repeat wtf.

I think she's saying "hands in my pocket" cuz I'm pretty sure I can hear a sample of "Hand in My Pocket" by Alanis Morrissette. Ok song. She's going all over the place this chick. Brand New Bitch was dance, then the next single was very pop-rock and this thing is electro-pop. Pick a genre!

Sorry M.I.A, Santigold, and The Knife are some of my favorite electro-pop but this Anjulie's is whack. Here voice is shrill and her lyrics are ridiculous and juvenile…. total rip-off of "Heartbeats" not a compliment.
