Ewan McGregor And Naomi Watts Do The Impossible To Survive A Tsunami

| Filed under: Film FlickersNaomi WattsSad SadEwan McGregor

And we're already crying! No joke.

If the trailer for The Impossible (above) is any sign of what's to come, tears will be flooding out of audiences' eyes when it hits theaters on December 21.

Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts star in this drama based on the true story of a family's struggle for survival during and after the tragic tsunami that struck Thailand in 2004.

There's nothing too graphic, but we're going to go ahead and label this as NSFW for anyone who is easily embarrassed by their own emotions.

do we really need to see movies on things that are still going to happen , besides this wasnt premonition with matt damon exactly the same story .. enough glorifying death..

i want to add i understand its a survivor story

    thats great BUT
THERE are mass graves in samoa there are over 20000 dead in japan at once there are still earthquakes every day and likelihood of more sunamis so for some reason this movie doesnt bring tears to me just makes me feel like its hitting a raw nerve and there is more to come …floods in india typhoons and floods in china floods and typhoons in the phillipines and all hollywood did was make one FUCKING survivor story and we are all supposed to say how great…

Well, now we know the entire story. Do they survive? Yes, we see they all do. They get separated in the tsunami. Do they find each other? Yes, the dad finds two boys at first. Mom finds Lucas. Lucas helps other people but is sad about not finding his dad and other brothers. Mom gets sicker. Do they reunite? Yes. They all do, and the dad sees the mom. The only question left is whether the mom lives in the end or not. I understand that it's the story that's supposed to bring people to the theater, but I think they should have left a little bit about what happened out…

Re: perez posse number 777 – so, they should have made a movie about every survivors story? or just not tell the story at all because there's a chance of another tsunami? if you don't like the movie, don't watch the fucking movie…better yet, go play in the indian ocean…if we're lucky, you won't be a survivor and your story wont be told…

Re: Belle – Totally agree w/you, Belle! That's what I was saying in my comment, too! Every question that I had while I was watching it was completely answered in the trailer. Nothing is left to watch!
