Nick Jonas Is STILL Up For American Idol Judging Spot!
Just because names like Nicki Minaj, Enrique Iglesias and Keith Urban are being thrown around as potential judges for the upcoming season of American Idol doesn't mean that previously-mentioned contenders like Nick Jonas are out of the running!
In fact, according to the singer, he very well still might end up on the panel!
"[There's been] lots of speculation … it's something I would like to do if it was right, but it's got to be right on both ends. It's an ongoing discussion, but as soon as we know if it's right… we'll see. I would be the youngest [judge], but I've also been a professional musician for about eight years of my life. That's a major question - would you be okay to criticize? If I can help someone be better, that's the ultimate goal, not putting them down or making them feel irrelevant. As much as we are going to get along, there still is a bit of tough love there, which is important."
Well, we think X Factor newbie Demi Lovato said it best recently!
His perspective would be JUST as valuable because he'll be representing a big portion of the audience who are in the same age range as him!
And you can't deny he's had a lot of experience for someone his age! And NOT just in pop music!

Why is everyone hating? It seems to me that people forget that most of these people auditioning are young like him. I think its great like they added demi lavato and britney to the other show so a younger audience can relate. I feel like nick who is teeni bopper mixed with older mariah carey and then nikki for extremely current music. its like perfect.
Nick would be so awesome as a judge. He's a very talented young man. I think most people just can't get past his Disney stigma, so they automatically assume he's talentless w/o giving him a chance.
