Watch A Young Tom Hardy Win A Male Modeling Contest In 1998
Because how could he ever lose?
Tom Hardy wasn't always a rough and tough movie star stealing scenes in movies like Bronson, Warrior and The Dark Knight Rises. In 1998 he was a skinny male model looking to break into the business.
And break into the business he did!
A vintage video (above) has surfaced of the actor competing for a modeling contract on UK television show The Big Breakfast. He took the top prize in the "Find Me a Supermodel" competition at 21 and then went on join a London drama school.
A few years later he nabbed his first acting role with a part in the 2001 miniseries Band of Brothers.
