This was not a "mass" shooting. The colorado shooting and this one are actually really different. He intended to kill one person, his gun could only hold 8 bullets, three were used in his co-worker, so only five left. This guy is the the other dead person in this scenario, he was probably suicidal. The police probably injured some of the people that got hurt (they've admitted this).
Yeah people probably should be scared of this kind of thing because a LOT of people are going be disgruntled and suicidal in the next few years if something doesn't change because they have no work, no way to pay for things, and life is going to seem not worth living. There are a few more problems here than gun control…

Funny enough, MOST of the people who were wounded it was actually from the cops. The cops hit more people than the shooter.

Gun deaths as a result of crime doesn't even hit the top 35 leading causes of death in America. While alcohol, tobacco, legal and illegal drugs overdoses, health related problems as a result of poor diets ALL surpass gun deaths. I like the fact that I can protect myself if something happens. People will always be able to get a hold of weapons..just like drugs are illegal but tons of people can still get ahold of them. Local controls are good, but the Federal laws on assault weapons already expired and don't seem to be coming back.
