Less than two weeks ago, we told you how Nickelodeon had announced they’d be cancelling one of their hit shows, Victorious!
While fans were caught off-guard by the news, it seems even the show’s stars were taken aback, too!
In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, the show’s leading lady Victoria Justice revealed:
“When I first heard the news, I was a little bit shocked. I wasn’t expecting it, but I’m a big believer that everything happens for a reason. I’m excited for the possibilities. I’ve been on Nickelodeon since I was twelve years old—starting on Zooey 101, and then was given my own show when I was sixteen.”
Dayum, sounds like the decision to shut down the show after season three was kept pretty under wraps!
Mz. Justice went on to say that now that she’s nineteen, she’s “ready to mature” with her career choices and will remember the show as a “unforgettable journey.”
Despite Victorious’ cancellation, the cast and crew can’t be TOO upset — it still garnered THREE Emmy noms this year!
Victoria plans to focus now on her budding music career and her upcoming starring role in the flick, Fun Size!
