Drake Bell Needs A Reminder…To Pay His Record Producer!

Uh-oh! Somebody is going to have to pay what they owe very soon!
Drake Bell, of Drake & Josh fame, has been slapped with a lawsuit by a record producer who claims that the former Nickelodeon star owes him money for songs he contributed to his 2011 EP A Reminder!
According to legal documents filed with El Lay County Superior Court, John Fields, who has worked with Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers, produced a total of nine songs for the extended play, for which Bell agreed to pay him $9,000 each!
However, after shelling out the cash for five of them, the singer just stopped, and now, Fields wants his remaining $36,000!
Ouch! This is a serious chunk of change!
Especially since he only ended up putting four songs on the album anyway!
Perhaps he thought he could pay off the rest of the money when a full album materialized…which obviously, hasn't happened yet!
Tough break! But hey!
If they had a contract, this guy deserves to be compensated for his work!
Here's hoping this one get resolved as amicably as possible!
