Jennifer Lopez Is SELENA Again! Covers No Me Queda Mas ONLY For Dallas!
This is INCREDIBLE!
It's like it's 1997 all over again! And in the best way possible!
You may recall that was the year that Jennifer Lopez had her break-through performance while portraying the late, taken-far-too-soon Selena Quintanilla-Perez in her bio-pic Selena!
Well, last night, as the pop sensation brought her Dance Again tour to the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, she paid tribute to the singer by performing one her classics for the first time since then LIVE!
And she sounds GREAT!

WOW! We don't know about you, but we are SERIOUSLY impressed!
Especially with that BELT toward the end!
We know she said that this was special for Selena's home-state of Texas, but she should really do this ALL THE TIME on tour!

Jennifer did this because she was in the home state of Selena and because without Selenas life story she wouldn't be as big as she is now. We all know that Jennifer isn't going to sing the song as great as Selena but at least she had enough respect to do the damn tribute. Jennifer isn't trying to be Selena shes just trying to respect her legacy and keep her spirit alive. Stop being so annoying about the fact that Jennifer doesn't do it like Selena. while doing a tribute is a great gesture especially here in TX to preform a song by Selena. Jennifer is completely and utterly tone deaf, she had absolutely no emotion for the song..with all spanish songs it comes from deep within you have to feel it.

Really Perez?! You were impressed by her vocals? She sounded like a cat in heat! She's a horrible singer and mediocre actress at best. Selena must've been rolling around in her grave. Selena had more talent in her pinky toe than J.Lo will ever have!
Did she sing it better than Selena? No. Did she really sound bad like people in other comments say?… NO SHE DIDNT. I know Jennifer does not have a big voice and yes, she goes out of tune sometimes, I am a fan and I admit it and Jennifer herself knows it, but she did a good job with this song. EVERY singer out there, even the ones you think are perfect go out of tune from time to time. Fact is it was a very nice and humble thing from Jennifer to pay tribute to Selena again in a live concert, just shows how much she respects and thanks her. But it is a little bit too conceited of people to say Jennifer is where she is ONLY because of Selena, it almost sounds envious… 50 Million records sold dont lie, Jennifer is an empire on her own, small voice and all she makes up for it in sooo many other ways, everything she touches is instant hit and that´s what really bothers OTHER fans.

it took a while for me to listen to this. I'm not a hige fan of selena or j.lo but i loved that movie. it was an amazing movie. i think her voice has no comparison to the songs ive since downloaded of selena's….but it was so good of her to perform it despite of that. she knows where she came from. and what matters to people. thats what i like about this.
