Sounds like fans of Florence + The Machine are going to have to wait a bit until they hear new music from the group!
After the release of the band’s most recent album, Ceremonials, lead singer Florence Welch has decided to take some time off!
In an interview with Style magazine, Florence revealed:
“There's a big 'take a year off' plan. The record company have put no pressure on me for the next album. They've said I can have as long as I want.”
Good! We’re glad she’s not rushing… especially after that vocal injury she suffered from earlier this year!
The songbird most recently performed (below) at this past weekend's Reading Festival in England and it definitely looks like she gave it her all!
However, Flo fans, fret not — you can STILL hear the singer when she’s featured on a track from Calvin Harris’ upcoming album, 18 Months!
Don’t keep us waiting TOO long, though, gurl!!
