The Expendables 2 Not So Expendable After All! Dominates Box Office For Second Weekend!

the-expendables-tops-weekend-box-office

We will never again question the power of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and a whole lotta' testosterone and explosions!

For the second weekend in a row, The Expendables 2 came in number one at the box office, with $13.5 million!

And while nothing else changed in the top five - The Bourne Legacy, ParaNorman, The Campaign, and The Dark Knight Rises all once again followed suit - Joseph Gordon-Levitt's new action flick, Premium Rush, BARELY edged past that pesky anti-Obama flick, 2016, making $6.3 million to the documentary's $6.23 million!

Yeesh!

Oh yeah, and don't even ASK about that horror flick with Ashley Greene and Draco Malfoy.

It didn't even make the top ten!

However, you can check out what DID…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

The Expendables 2
The Bourne Legacy
ParaNorman
The Campaign
The Dark Knight Rises
The Odd Life Of Timothy Greene
Premium Rush
2016: Obama's America
Hope Springs

Can't say bow Perez, this movie cost 100mil to make, it has barely made 35mil in the US in two weeks and it will be done next week. It did a little better overseas but I doubt there will be a #3..After promotion and star demands, the studio has lost tens of millions on this movie franchise..Epic fail!!!

The only thing pesky is Perez and his over inflated sense of worth.

Movie has been under performing actually. I've seen it, was pretty damn entertaining and is very proud to be a kick butt action movie and wish it was doing a little better. This summer has been disappointing, Ted, The Dark Knight Rises, Expendables 2 and Amazing Spider-man have been pretty good flicks, but not much more other than that. Now fall movie season looks AWESOME! Want to see Lawless and Campaign still from summer movies, but fall with Looper, Skyfall, Lincoln, The Hobbit, Dredd 3D, End of Watch, Taken 2, Argo, Killing Them Softly, Cloud Atlas, Jack Reacher and Django Unchained looks great!

I see after advertising on your web site, Hit & Run premiered in a dismal tenth. Looks like that was a waste of money.

For the record- what Perez unfairly calls a "pesky" anti Obama flick is actually a documentary that goes to Indonesia and Kenya and two other continents and interviews first hand people that know/knew Obama and his family - Hey Perez - bet you didnt even see the 2016 movie before you called it pesky - nice to have an open mind.

The only good time to see movies is late fall and round Christmas. It is pretty bleak otherwise.
